McNamara Fencing Contractors Pty ltd offers services of fencing, which includes even tubular and cyclone fencing, throughout Adelaide. The company was founded by Mr C.C McNamara in 1954. The major clients then, were small and domestic private builders. With the business coming under Mr Brian McNamara (son of C.C. McNamara) in the year 1971, it was registered by the name that till date exists. The company began dealing with commercial builders (small) in 1974 and started the supply of fabricated steel required in house construction from the same year. In 1980, the fabrication business was further expanded with a move to nearby Lonsdale.  The evolving business necessitated a new office as well as a factory complex, which were established in 1997 in Lonsdale. Mr B McNamara retired in 2002, but the company continued its growth. The rapid developments in the business compelled a move to a spacious premises situated in Reynella and the related work was completed in the year 2005.

The various products and services offered at McNamara include chain-wire fencing, tubular fencing, sheet fencing, temporary fencing, timber fencing, fencing materials, retaining walls, sporting applications, gate automation, emergency services, salvage materials and special works (i.e. novel solutions specially designed for unique problems).

The key members of the staff of this Adelaide fencing company include Mr Alan Miller, Mr Anthony Baker, Mr Bill Murray, Mr Andy Behrdnt, Mr Gavin Ponton, Mr David Curyer and Mr Kris Gebauer. Some of the benchmark jobs undertaken to successful completion by the company include Adelaide Zoo, Ikea, Stage 1 of Port River Expressway and Wattle Point wind farm in Edithburugh.
